Our Story
At Harbor Point, our commitment to this work extends beyond professional obligation – it is a vocation rooted in the profound belief that therapy is a transformative process. Through our collective experience, we have witnessed the meaningful change it can bring. We hold a deep respect for your strengths and potential, and with our guidance and partnership, we will work collaboratively to navigate and address the challenges you’re facing.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support individuals in identifying and understanding the underlying factors—whether cognitive, emotional, or relational—that contribute to patterns of distress, pain, or overwhelm. From there, we work collaboratively to facilitate meaningful and sustainable change. Treatment plans are individualized and responsive, integrating empirically supported modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing.
Rather than offering prescriptive solutions or time-limited frameworks, we prioritize a collaborative therapeutic process. Our clinicians aim to cultivate insight, ask nuanced and reflective questions, and co-develop adaptive strategies that extend beyond the therapy space—fostering resilience, autonomy, and long-term well-being.

Our Vision
We don’t assume we know what’s best for you; we listen carefully to understand why you came to therapy, what you’ve already tried, and what actually matters to you. From there, we work together to create a plan that targets the areas of your life that feel stuck, unclear, or unmanageable.
We believe therapy should feel collaborative, not clinical. Clear, not cold. We want this to be a place where people can feel confident that they’re in good hands, whether you are a student or a parent, or a client who is paying in cash or using insurance.
Our Qualifications
Our clinicians are fully licensed in Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts (LICSW, LCSW) and have received rigorous training in a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and narrative therapy, among others. In addition to their formal qualifications, our team engages in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and the continuous integration of emerging research to inform best practices in care.
Our practice specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, substance use challenges, and significant life transitions. While we do not provide crisis intervention or intensive psychiatric care for severe mental illness, we are well-equipped to support individuals facing complex emotional and psychological experiences with clinical expertise, cultural humility, and a commitment to person-centered care.
